What we bring the machines out for

One A-licensed outfit, so the same crew that clears the lot can cut the driveway and set the tank. No handoffs between three contractors who have never met.

  • Septic system installation

    Infiltrator chamber systems and Jet Inc. aerobic treatment units, sized to the lot and built to the design engineer's specification. Specialty work covers grease interceptors and lift stations. Detailed below, including the Department of Health path.

  • Land clearing and demolition

    Brush, trees, old slabs and structures taken down and hauled off, leaving a pad you can actually build on. Grubbing and rough grade included in the same mobilization.

  • Driveway improvement

    Cut, base course and compaction on upcountry grades that wash out every wet season. Culverts and drainage set so the surface you paid for is still there next year.

  • Commercial site work

    Site prep, utility trenching and finish grade for commercial projects, with the licence and the insurance a general contractor is going to ask for before you get on the schedule.

  • Civil construction and road striping

    Roadway and civil work across the island, including layout and striping. This is the side of the business you will see most often on our Instagram feed.

The as-built

Most of a septic job happens where you can see it. The part that decides whether it counts happens on paper. Step through the package your job builds, sheet by sheet, until it reaches the Department of Health.

  1. Site visit and estimate

    We work with you to set up a site visit and provide an estimate.

    Nothing is quoted off a map. Access and soil decide the number, so we stand on the lot first.

  2. Install to engineer spec

    The system goes in the ground built to the design engineer's specification, which is what the next two stages have to document.

    Tank, distribution box and absorption bed, set where the drawing says they go.

  3. Engineer approval

    We send as-built drawings and project photos to the engineer for approval.

    The photographs are taken while the trench is still open. There is no going back for them later.

  4. Department of Health

    We submit as-built drawings, photos and the contractor authorization form to the design engineer for submission to the Department of Health.

    That submission is what makes the system count. It is the last thing we do and the reason we keep records from day one.

Septic systems, and why the paperwork is half the job

Hawaii is replacing cesspools, and a replacement system is not finished until the State has the file on it. This is the part of the work most people do not find out about until the permit stalls.

  • Infiltrator chamber systems

    Open-bottom plastic chambers in place of a rock and pipe bed. They go in cleaner, they are easier to set to grade on a Maui slope, and the absorption bed is sized to the lot rather than to a catalogue.

  • Jet Inc. aerobic treatment

    An aerobic treatment unit for sites where a conventional bed will not pass, whether that is soil, setback or the space you actually have. Specialty work also covers grease interceptors and lift stations.

  • The tank, the box and the bed

    Tank set, distribution box plumbed and absorption bed laid to the design engineer's drawing, then documented open before anything is backfilled.

We walk the lot before we put a number on it.

Location, site access and soil conditions move what a system costs, and any contractor who gives you a figure without seeing the ground is guessing. We come out, we look, and we tell you plainly what is driving the price and what could change it.
